New guy here and I am thinking of buying a 73 RR. I searched the site some and so far I need to look for rm21 on the fender tag.and the last vin digits are stamped on the firewall...should all match dash, fender tag and firewall.its a 318 car and that I found should be e44.right.He said the car has the org 318 and its a numbers matching car. the car looks straight..only minor bubbles around the real wheels. The car is 3 hours away from my house and I will go back down there probilly tuesday to drive it and get it out from the weeds so I can look under it..and look in the trunk. What things do I have to look for on these cars to make sure its a good solid car. typical problem areas ? The guy said its all original even paint. It's a white car,red stipe, tan int, bench and column.black go wing and mag 500s. I would be grateful for any tips and advice ..I always wanted one of these and if I buy it you will see on here a lot.I just need some help from some on here to make sure I'm not getting a pile.Thanks.

welcome to FBBO randythedog. take a good look under the car at the floors and frame rails as this is the area where time and money will go hand in hand.

floors felt solid from pushing around on the carpet...I will get a better look when I get it out of the weeds. The guy said I could drive it home the 3 hours away I live.He wants 5k for it.It looks like a good complete daily driver with a 318.

If its a running driving car that's even semi-solid, I say 5 grand is pretty fair. I payed $1500 for my car and it wasn't even close to running, and it needed quite a bit of body work! Grats on your find, hope you're able to bring it home!

welcome and good luck with your find. a '73 340 4 speed runner was my first mopar. post up pics when you get yours!

welcome to FBBO

After I peeled the dash cover back the vin said.....RH23. alpine white with a yellow full vinyl roof.someone cloned it years ago. I found a couple other rr's to look at though...A 69 383 auto car for 5k or a 74 orig 318 car now 383 both supose to be real rrs.

if the price was right, and in good condition, I could drive that.
