73 small block sway bar install

73 charger small block base coupe. I know most front sway bars came on Ralley chargers. I have a chance to put sway bar on my 73 small block, but I have been told by some I have to have correct k member in order to put a sway bar? Another told me I needed tabs? Can someone educate me please . I Dont want to spend the money in the sway barnif it won't fit.
