I am not familiar with the 74 Charger K-frame and mounts. My friend is trying to put a 72-440 motor into his Charger that originally was a 400 car. He has the big block K-frame in the car but the motor mounts we have are the 68-72 style. He does not have the 74 mounts to swap over, my question is will the motor drop in with the mounts that we have or do we have to find a pair that are the spool type.
Thanks

Nope. You need the 73-up spool mounts. 72-down are the biscuit style. I might have a set.

Check with NAPA. I got mounts for my 74 from them and they still have them in stock.

NAPA has the rubber insulators but pretty sure they don't carry the mounting bracket that bolts to the motor.

Napa doesn't carry the 73-74 big block mounts anymore. If you go in there and order some for a big block, you're going to get mounts for a small block since thats all they have.
