Hey how’s it going I have a 75 Cordoba I’m looking to get back on the road it’s been sitting a few years had a freeze plug get pushed out and I haven’t messed with it since not sure if any damage was done to the engine when this happened so I’m looking into replacing the engine it has a 360 with 2 barrel carb ..where would be a good place to find a replacement engine

If you're on a tight budget maybe a used 5.9 magnum engine out of a 90's early 2000's dodge Durango, ram 1500 etc. You'd need to replace a few thing like the intake, timing cover??, and not sure what else. I've heard of quite a few people going this route and getting pretty decent performance on a limited budget. See a lot of durangos for sale pretty cheap. Seems like most of them have transmission problems and people don't want to spend the money to repair. Just have to find one with a good running englne.

The freeze plug did its job.
Replace it and drive it like ya stole it. Doesnt cost but a couple bucks.

Slap stick makes a good point. New freeze plug, fresh gas, new battery and see what you've got. It might actually run as is
