The 9/11 light display over lower Manhattan is NOT going to happen this year, the powers that be are using covid as the excuse. Thats a crying shame. I for one will NEVER forget.

Exactly my thoughts.......How many people does it take to set up two light setups and turn a switch on??? bunch of ******** using Covid as an excuse. The Walmart down the road though for sure can let a few hundred into their stores though and that's ok, but a few people setting lights up in the street OUTSIDE is a huge NO NO.

Frank Siller of Tunnel To Towers Foundation says the show will go on. He said lights will be lit on Sept 11th. Not at the exact location but close. He was on Fox this AM, also announced on their website Thurs.
That's a beautiful thing.

According to museum officials, this year’s Tribute in Light was canceled because officials feared the virus could spread among the 40 stagehands and electricians who set up the display, The Wall Street Journal reported.

But the rioting and looting is allowed to go on.

After the ceremony is over the attendees need to head over to the area being rioted and run them out of town. I can't believe the citizens haven't done this yet, in any of these cities.

Back in the 70's all big cities were burnt out shells, Baltimore, Newark, Cleveland, D.C. and most Northeast Cities. N.Y. was okay because we had the blackout that gave the people the right to burn and loot. There's a block on Broadway that hasn't come back after 43 years. So as it continues today people in the suburbs don't have to live with bars on their windows or roll down gates on front doors.
