A/C, heater controls are stiff- is it possible to lubricate these

69 Road Runner with a/c ...looking for a quick and easy way to lubricate the controls ( 2 are relatively easy to control ... others are extremely hard to push in).Image attached for reference.

Take it out of the car and play around with it... should be able to clean it up ... also would be a good time to lubricate the cables going to the heater box.
