My wife and I have had to make a really painful decision. Since our income has changed so dramatically, we are going to have to adopt out our cats. We can no longer afford to take care of them.

If any of you love cats and are in or close enough to our area (middle Georgia) and want to give one a good home, please let me know. We have a new litter of four, born eight weeks ago. They are all eating solid food and they know what and where the litter box is. I also have 4 adult cats that have to go, including the kittens mother.

Thanks.

feel for you rustyratrod I've been there wife found four baby kittens a while back couldn't get rid of them had to take care of them ,already had three cats from my kids we have to take of, now theres 7 , lost our chessie to cancer been wanting to get a cheesie puppy but this too much

Man I really feel for you if it's gotten to the point where you can't afford your cats. If I was closer I'd take one for my garage "mouse control". If you where willing to move and had welding skills the gas lines are booming around hear, Hope things turn around soon.

I'm So, So Sorry to hear that Rusty, I hope you can find great homes for all of them...

sorry to hear bud, it will get better it always does, any family can look after them until back on your feet?

Sorry to hear that you are having a rough time Rusty. Hang in there as best you can pal, things will get better.

Must be some farms down there that would more than willing to take them.

Damn Rusty, Also sorry to hear that. If I were closer I'd take um. Got plenty of room around here. Keep your head up Bud.

Damn Rob, sorry to hear you gotta give em up. it sucks man, but you gotta do what you gotta do. good luck

Sorry to hear about that Rusty. I know what you're going through! We adopted a momma cat that was only 6 months old off the street to be a buddy for our 5 yr old male maine coon that's fixed and we didn't know she was already pregnant! 6 weeks later while the wife was at work the momma cat goes into labor. I stayed home and helped her deliver 4 little buddies. We had 6 cats in the house for 4 months and man oh man, it was a lot of fun. Those little guys just tug at your heart. We had to short-sale our house though and get a rental and it's tougher than ever to find a rental that allows pets in northern california, let alone 6 cats! So we adopted out all 4 kittens and still have the 2 adult cats. Luckily, one of my friends lives on some rural property and took 2 of them so they could be with each other. They're catching lots of mice now and he lets me visit them whenever I want.

Those are a lot of little mouths to feed for sure. I hope you find good homes for them and hope it works out soon.
