Sounds very evil and no, the grille is not made out of one piece...look at 1:11...you can see the difference in crown in the SS grille. As far as I know, there aren't any SS grilles that are in 1 piece.

Speaking about the grille,this grille can be welded together thus one piece.the coating has to be removed frist than welded up.

Goes without saying. For that matter the ribs could be cut, shortened, and welded back in place so they had the same crown as the rest of the grill. Then the entire thing could be polished and re bright dipped. And considering that you get charged by the INCH for bright dip, you could probably wind up with several thousand dollars in the grill (including the cutting and welding costs)

nasty sounding-runner

I guess the 65 grille is configuered a little differently than the 64 dodges,mine did not cost thousands to end up being one piece and looking better dam good,and have the same look from lite to lite-check out my gallery to see what I 'm talking about!!!
