A833/727 slip yoke splined to the opening?

Just thinking out loud....I acquired a RR driveshaft for my BB swap...and running slightly over stock height springs...I'm 95% not worried too much about the .6" difference...

But then there is that little 5% devil on my shoulder....thinking if there was a "fully splined" version...

Thoughts? Just spitballing here.
 
Your saying that the splines start an inch or so inside the yoke? If the driveshaft is a 1/2" shorter than stock think it's OK. Picture is the stock driveshaft you can judge fit. I replaced my tail shaft bushing after using a GTX 68 4 speed with a Dana in my 66 Satellite with Dana. The driveshaft was 1" to short, took 10k miles to kill the bushing. the tool to replace the bushing goes for $80 to $135.
