I have an AC kit from Classic Auto Air that arrived today as my next project for my '66 Charger. It's a heat-only car, all original with a 383. If anyone has already done this and has tips, pointers, and/or lessons learned to share, I'm all ears!

Search for info, there are a number of threads on this. Non-ac cars seem to be the best candidates. Have Classic from Tampa in my 69 non ac Coronet. Ice cold for 9 years.

I installed a Vintage Air unit, no big tricks really. Think the belt configuration threw and steer away from cheap component's. I did a custom install and bought a cheap bulkhead, fittings weren't beveled properly making it a pain to get the O rings in without damage. Wire and hose duct routing to me was the biggest pain. Very little room to work under the dash and wiper linkage makes it a bare but once done it's nice. If you go the custom (hide as much as possible) route I can give you a few ideas. Also using as much rigid plumbing as possible helps clean up the appearance.
