Ad at bottom of page stays there when X is clicked (but graphic goes away)

So, I'm trying to browse my attachments.

Trying to click page 2.

There is an ad that takes a long time to load directly on top of the links to the pages and "next".

The cursor does not change (to enable clicking) until the ad fully loads.

I click the "X" in the upper right corner to close the ad.

The ad disappears (or so it seems).

...but when I click on the "next" link, or any of the page number links.....

I get taken to the site of the ad!
