Adding Pictures

Don,

Couple different ways to do it. Down under the box where you type in your replies, hit the "Go Advanced" button. You're directed to the advanced screen. Now scroll down and hit the "manage attachments" button. A seperate box will pop up. As you will see, on that screen there is file size limitations, so make sure your file does not exceed that size, it will not post otherwise. Hit the "Browse" button. From there you will have to navigate through to the location the file/pic you want to add is on your computer. Select you file and hit open. Back to the prior screen, hit upload towards the top right corner. Now you're back at the main Advance screen...Hit "submit reply".....Walla!

Another way to do it....

If you use Photbucket or another source for storing your pictures online, you can go this route...

Go to photbucket or whatever program you use for online storage, highlight and copy the direct link for that picture (ex...htp://i787.photobucket.com/albums/yy152/pcrazt4/g1.jpg). Come back here and at the top of the reply box where you type you see a little icon at the top that looks like a little post card with a mountain on it. This is your insert image Icon. Hit that button. A box will come up. Delete out the generic http:/ highlighted in blue, right click your mouse over the blank slot and select paste. That just pasted the direct link for that picture. Hit "ok" in that little box. Now that pic is inserted in you reply..

Welcome aboard and hope it helps..

LOL. Ya thats where I send every one. Like you said it saves time. There is also one over on FABO on how to resize pics.

Wow....I need to use Paint.net (free) to resize. Wish we had those links over here.

If you use outlook express You can just right click on any of your pictures and send them to yourself as it will ask, make my pictures smaller? If you want them larger when you right click on the picture and that screen pops up to make smaller... in the bottom left click and set it to your screen resolution size ( for wall paper ) and leave it in the other Make pictures small. to send the image the same size it is you just would click on the opposite "make my pictures smaller" which i think says keep image same size. MAN i sure hope you do use it, im a one finger typer and arther and ritus is havin a fight between there selves tonight and im the one losing!!!! ;) Ron.

I don't know about Internet Explorer, as I use Firefox, but if anyone does not know of it, Photo Bucket has a program where if you right click on a picture you'll see a "upload to Photo bucket".. It will upload the photo to your default album for you, then you just click the top of page your on, its like a small navigation bar and get the img-code or just exit it out and you'll have it in your album when you do want it... Works great, doesn't interfere with what your doing or go to another page or something... Firefox is proven to be quicker and more secure then IE.. works great for any who do not have it.. my 2 cents! Ron..

Set your camera to 3.1 MP or less and they will load right up with out having to resize them.
