About three months ago a friend called me and told me about a new friend he had gone to see and what he told me was unbelieveable he told me about a family of brothers and brother inlaws that had all kinds of mopars, he asked them if he could bring me to see them and they told him it was ok,they told me once I got there that they don't make a habbit of letting outsiders in.What I saw was a mopar nuts dream there were road runners, gtx's, challengers, chargers hemi cudas, two 440 super birds, there were more cars there than I could count, these were cars that were running or being ready to run.these guys had race cars that they built and do all the up keep on, the family was made up of guys that built transmissions, engines did there own wiring. anything needed they knew how to do it.there were about twenty challenger bodys, about ten road runners and four 70 gtx's that was waiting to be restored I had never seen so many mopars in one place owned by one family.

I too have those kinds of dreams, but for some reason I always end up banging the daughter.:love6:

Would have been neat to see. But the moral of tHe story is nothing's for sale I take it?

I take it that some don't believe me with the dream comment, but who cares. I know what I saw and I to told my friend when he told me about the cars the same thing,The guys stay on this land that was bought by the father of the brothers, they all stay there with their inlaws.I was given a chance to see the cars and promise not to bring anyone out there unless they say so.They have been collecting the cars they told me for years,I asked about buying one of the 70 GTX's and all I was told was that everything is for sale for the right price, but no price was ever given so I let it go,the GTX had a 440 in it that one of the brothers had just rebuilt and was waiting to get back to it and finish putting the remaining parts on it and start it.I was not thinking about taking pictures I was shocked just seeing the cars there. they don't let outsiders in because of people stealing parts off the cars.not all of them are on the inside but the biggest of them are covered outside under carports they have made.I know that I am not the only one that have seen these cars but just like me they were probably asked not to bring anyone out there they don't know,I hope that they don't mind me talking about this as long as I keep their location to myself.I am going to ask my buddy if they wouldn't mine if I could take pictures as long as I don't go against their wishes and tell there location. To all of the none believers I say this, I don't blame you because I did not believe it until I was taken to what I call mopar heaven.

Its not that I don't believe you my brother. It's more that for some reason these folks that hoard all these vehicles don't want to sell anything. That's all I was saying. I can never understand that. Lucky you for getting a gander that most of us will never be able to see. That's why we go to car shows.

Kinda reminds me of this guy and his wife.....nice folks too.

I am aquainted with Clay and Rosie have been in their drag race pits several times and stopped by their place a couple of times . They and their son operate a 60's-70's Mopar salvage yard, and will send parts at a very reasonable price. They are some very classy folks..........................MO
