Hey everyone like my user name suggests I have a bowtie, now looking to restore my favorite car, A 1970 Plymouth "B" body of som e sort. Built a 1969 Camaro 1st because quite frankly couldn't afford to do a Mopar. My 1st exposure of a muscle car was a 1970 Road Runner 440, burnt orange. To an 8 year old boy that car was awesome. My older brother bought 1 and restored it. So I'm starting from scratch here. Going to have a few dumb ??? for some of you. Thnx in advance. .

Hi, welcome to our group. :wav:

Good luck with the Mopar project, sounds like you had a pretty good older brother. :)

By all means, ask away.

hi and welcome to the site :headbang:

Thanx for the welcome, I guess I'm a little confused of the trim levels of the 1970 Plymouth B body trim levels. Thinking Belvedere, Satellite, Gtx, Road Runner, Super Bird ??? Then I see things like Sport Satellite, Sport Belvedere, and Road Runners with a wing without the nose cones. Also Road Runners and Gtxs with a small rear wing.. lol.. Also crate motors available for Mopars. Bowties come in a lot of cubic inch choices that are available. My Camaro has a 582. The only 1s I've seen for Mopar is 383, 426, 440, 572. Im thinking they have more choices, just dont know what or whom. Not really interested in keeping my future Mopar original. Just want a nice driving with tire melting power on demand.. Lol.. Also something to run with my Camaro, and my brothers new project 66 Ford Galaxy 500 with a 545 stroker...

The 318 in my 67 charger and the 355 in my 69 camaro will both melt the tires...the charger needs a little brake stand to do it but it has 3.55 gear in it.....dont really need a huge motor to do that brother.

Anyway welcome to the site. Love to see some pics of your rides.

Wisconsin= you almost have to start out with a Chebby,:argue: ............then step up to a Mopar!

Sonny says, best of luck to you & hope you fine your bike pee wee.:rolling:

BTW; welcome

OK I'll be the first since I'm known for it anyway.

Why start off by telling us you have a chebby? why sign up with a chevy name? why then tell us you love mopar? Why not instead just say your looking to build a 70 RR and will be hunting for advice? GOD HATE'S CHEVYS! and this is god's country. Yes I have a problem with and no I wont get over it. camreos are the enemy and gm kills it's customers take that **** to a chevy forum.

At least post a link to where I can see your 69 Camaro build...I'm deep, DEEP into a 69 Camaro build myself for a customer. Cheers!

Im a mopar guy first but a car guy second and as long as its good old american iron I aint got a problem myself....we are all here for the same thing love of old iron.....

I can agree to that, muscle cars are a thing of beauty but when it comes to ma mopar and this site " for B body's only" I find it difficult to believe a real mopar lover would come here and start off with MY chevy and create an account with a name like Camero blah blah I mean **** man c'mon that;s a 15 yard personal foul right there wtf?

Now a little brother of a mopar owner just starting out, having had a chivy for a first ride and now desperately wanting a mopar I can forgive that. hell I'm the last one to not do so but c'mon man! 1 min on the clock down by 3 get it in field goal range let's go!

Its alright i,ve had chevys too. In fact 3 Chevelles.Welcome to fbbo.

welcome to the "Dark Side"...
good luck with the 70 RR project
Mopar parts are for more rare & far more expensive,
if you didn't know that already...

most people are pretty helpful here
