Like some others have said - buying for investment is not a good bet. If the car is $16k to you out the door it doesn't seem like a bad deal, but don't expect to make money off it. Particularly given its not on the top of the heap in terms of popularity.

Buy it to drive and enjoy it and let someone inherit it from you. You still have a lot of good driving and enjoyment years in you. Don't plan on selling just as you buy. If that was the case I'd say don't do it.

Welcome to the forum, sounds like a deal to me for 16K, any MOPAR is worth restoring in my opinion!!! 66's are very cool!!!

16K is probably a breakeven price on a 383 66 Charger done as a nice driver.

They have to be SUPER nice and highly optioned to go for more.
