we talked to auto metal direct today and the 64 Plymouth 1/4 panels will be out in about 2 weeks I have one reserved for thee 64 sport Fury I'm going to start on soon. @ $650.00 per side. I found a good used one and they want $600.00 for it. new is better I may have to put a ton of hours getting a used one where I want it.:headbang:

I would have thought 66 and 67 quarters would have more demand. But at least they are still putting out some new stuff.

The reason those quarters are finally being done is because they were pushed by Joe Suchy and Jim Kramer to get them done. I waited 3 years for them and finally didn't think it would happen so we used the small AMD patch panel, pieces from donor car and hand made patches to piece the quarters together, as soon as I get that done they are actually going to do it, go figure.

I've always heard the "few weeks" story myself. To the OP, I would get that used one and get your car together!

They had them in their catalog 3 years ago and now they are saying in 2 weeks. Good luck with that. I sold my 65 Satellite because I couldn't find a good pass quarter for it.

Also don't buy a new AMD thinking that you won't have to a bunch work getting it to fit. I'd take a nice original over a repro any day.

I received an email from Joe Suchy today. He said the quarters and inner and outer wheel houses arrived at his place yesterday.

These have been a long time coming. You are referring to the full quarters with doorjambs, yes? Suddenly 4-door parts cars prices just went up a bunch.... no more cheap 4doors! Now all one will need for a 2-door conversion is a pair of doors. No need to find and cut up a wrecked 2-door for doorjambs!:headbang:

we talked to Allen from AMD yesterday and they are in. we'll pick ours up in Dallas this week.

Here are pics Joe sent me before he received them. Here's what he said in his email:

"What was supposed to be a major patch about one inch about the body
line, has evolved into a full quarter for the 64-65 hardtop. I
understand that it does not have the full door jamb. When used on a
sedan or convertible body, you will have to alter the top."

Yes - $650. Joe told me $150. for shipping to a commercial address and $175. to residential. He goes to some shows, too, so if pre ordered there can be savings on shipping.

Well I'll be damned...

Now... to wait on a few reports on fit from some guinea pigs.

Is this a crease? Trick of light?
