AMD Bumper / Bumper Bracket Doesn’t Fit

1968-1969 Plymouth B-body AMD front bumper brackets and bumper don’t fit together. These are supposed to be Chrysler authorized restoration parts, yeah right. That doesn’t mean ****. I came across this problem about 2 1/2 years ago and worked with Zach at AMD to understand and fix the problem with their parts. He said it would be fixed but takes time. Guess 2 1/2 years isn’t long enough... I needed another set for one of the cars in my shop and figured they would have the problem fixed, no worries. Nope still selling the same old ****. Calling and sending back Monday morning! I’m sure they’ll have some excuse since they’re made in Taiwan.

Anyone else run into this problem?

My '69 Bee support brackets where exact to OE other than the part number font is slightly wrong. 40 years from now with all these reproduced part #'s out there guys will think that they bought an OE survivor... lol

How long ago did you buy them? Probably more than 2 1/2 years ago?

Actually you have the Dodge brackets. I’ve never had a problem with those. Plymouth brackets are different.

Recently (2 months ago), order and received front bumper and brackets, and also rear bumper. Fit was almost perfect, centered good, correct length fitting close to the body. Chrome quality was really good also. Yes, they were AMD. I wouldn't hesitate to order again if I needed. OH, for my 1968 Roadrunner.
