AMD parts coming soon?

Is there any way to tell what parts AMD is coming soon? Curious if or when they are planning to make trunks for 69 roadrunner,they have most everything else

Imho the full trunk floor for 68-70 B-Bodies was one of the first parts AMD offered at all...

Yes,sorry I meant trunk lid..almost every other part for the 69 runner is being made ,just wondering if it was in the works

I had a call with AMD last week asking about 71 Charger outer fenders or outer fender patch panels and no plans. They said the interest in 3rd Gen Chargers just wasn't enough to justify the new parts.....


SO... That means if you own a 3rd Gen Charger call up AMD and tell them you want new parts!!!!

I doubt they'll repop the 68, 69, or 70 deck lid. Each year has a specific and unique deck lid, thus making them less likely to repop it. The parts that cross over multiple years or models are the ones that get produced.
You'd think with about 82,000 Roadrunners produced in 69, plus the Belvederes, Satellites, and GTX's, it would be worth reproducing the deck lid.
I asked about it years ago, and wasn't given a straight answer.
I'd buy one!

As of a year ago, AMD had no plans whatsoever to produce 71-74 B-body roof skins. I'm in the same boat, I need one and its bulk and ease of damage when shipping makes obtaining an orginal one tough...

I believe they make a trunklid for a 68/69 road runner its about $700 i saw it on there website i think its in classic and year ones catalog

back orders lately have been an issue with AMD, on some parts. I was rebuilding a camaro for a guy, and it took forever to get parts from AMD. They show it all, and act as though it's all there in stock, until after you order, and give them a cc number. They had been bragging how AMD stuff was USA made. I got the quarter panels, and they had sticker's on them, "Made in Taiwan" I called and asked about it, and they said, "Yes, they are made in Taiwan, on AMD presses" I thought, sure they are.....lol

I havent called AMD yet about 69 lids but I would think they would make them for 67-68-69 as they do quarters & fenders that are all different molds to..I see more bad trunk lids than hoods or fenders..I would buy a nice,very nice used trunk lid but all the ones Ive seen are rusty at the seems & you know whats behind that,mine didnt look that bad until I got to removing metal then WOW..just really hard to make mine work,I was about to order some parts from them,I hope they arent ducking on there in stock orders

they make firewalls,its the same one used for a 71 cuda
cowl tops is a different story

A/C firewall only and they fit 71-3B not74B. Non-A/C fire wall is different between B and E.

They won't make a one year, one model deck lid. Not even 68 Coronet.

They make 68 and 69 RR fenders because there are the same except for the side marker which is an easy die change.

I posted a couple weeks ago about their new 70-1 Duster fenders being made in the US. After talking to Ted Stephens last week he said that was total BS. Make in Teeewan like all their stuff.

From wht I've been told by good sources, the "Holy Grail" of Mopar sheetmetal will never be re-produced- 68 B-body Dodge.
It's a one year part with not enough demand for AMD. I have had guys scoff at prices I asked for them when I've had nice ones, (I'll just wait for AMD), but they always have sold! Mint 68 Coronet decklids bring four digit prices in todays world, truly hard to find.

Not sure about other years but looks like the 68-69-70 b-bodies would only be a rear of trunk die change as the tops are the same,I mean dont they make a 70 b-body quarter? one year only,pretty good size die change if thats the case & didnt make as many 70 b-bodies
