Hey guys,
First post on this forum, but I'm on a few different ones, as I have a few different cars.

I'm the owner of a 68 Plymouth Roadrunner that I have had since 1997. I was 15, now 33.

It was already cut up when I bought it, pretty sure it was a drag car only, at one point.
When I found it, it was actually being used to tow a 17' boat, had a trailer hitch on it and a small tub already, which they had put BFG Trail-T/A truck tires on it.
Someone had also cut the original trunk lid frame, then must have realized it had no structure and then boxed it in with REALLY heavy steel.

The shop that built the car for me, A & D Performance, use to have a 68 Roadrunner, and it's his FAVORITE car.
We decided to fix it's issues, however, once getting into the car the decision was made to cut the whole car and do a full frame.

Here is how it sits today:

Hi, pull up a chair and sit awhile. I like your car - and the photography too! Looks like a mean street terror.

Welcome :wav:

Thanks everyone!

Hyrdgoon, I'm actually not far from you. I'm in Mississauga.

Freaken' awesome 68 RR

welcome to FBBO from hot NorCal

I've seen this car in person. Up close it is flawless. Seem to recall that you were with an equally sparkling runner at the time. Welcome aboard.

Thanks again everyone!

Thank you very much for the compliment!
If it was a candy apple red 70 Roadrunner, that is A&D Performance's own car.

The candy apple red one is the one I have pics of from last Moparfest.

Do you go to any of the cruise nights?

The shop takes their car to Moparfest, but usually I just go without the car.
I do go to the local cruise nights. Usually the Rona at Winston Churchill and 401. Brampton's Shoppers world, Queensway Canadian tire, which is always a huge turn out. And Milton GO station on Sundays.

The car is currently down, as the fuel pump was leaking last year when put away. I've sent it to New York to have it fully rebuilt. I'm hoping to have it back early next week.

I saw your car at Queensway Canadian Tire and have attended most of those cruise nights you mentioned. You might want to include in your cruise schedule Tuesday in Oakville (now bigger than Queensway) and Hamilton Pier 4 park on Thursday which I consider the granddaddy of all cruises. Hamilton usually has 200 to 300 vehicles, excludes new cars has live entertainment and really great burgers. Here is the link http://www.rockinthewaterfront.ca/. July 2nd theme is Mopar Muscle madness and 50th anniversary of the Jeep.

Your car needs to be there as does yours Hyrdgoon. Post pictures as I'll be in Quebec City that day with my WTF car.

That looks like a nasty beast! I love cars that have stuff sticking out of the hood. Welcome to the forum it's a great place to hang out.....

I have been kicking around going to the Tuesday night show, as I've heard good things about it. My photographer lives in Oakville, and has been asking me to come out to that show. So I think I'll have to try and time it so myself and the shops 70 can go together.

I know the Hamilton show use to be huge when it was still held at Maple View mall on Wednesday's. But I haven't gotten back out that way for a show since then. I've never heard of anything else going on around there, so it sounds like I'll have to check it out!

Thanks for the info!
