The heading said I was supposed to introduce myself...
Became interested in Plymouths as a wee lad when our next door neighbour brought home a new 65 Belvedere II - black on black, 383 4 speed. Loved the look of it. And to my adolescent brain, it just HAD to be fast because it squealed the tyres every time Steve left his house...
My first car was a 70 RoadRunner.
I have been "Plymouth-less" for quite awhile, but am keeping my eyes open for the right 67 GTX at a reasonable price. [cue Aerosmith's 'Dream On' , I know]
Have lurked the forum occasionally in the past 'just looking' , but recently was directed here by a google image search that pointed me to the historic/'old school' photo thread. Saw a couple of cars in there from the Street Machine Nationals in 76 that mean something to me and that I have no photos of. So, now y'all hafta put up with me! Am terribly computer illiterate, so posting photos will certainly be a challenge, but I'll try to get my RoadRunner up in this post. Most of my pictures from "back in the day' are on slides, and I only have one of the car that has been 'digitised' so far for another project.
Slainte.
