Nice Bee again

Sweet jeeebus. the only possible thing wrong with that car is the tires. And man, I'm being REAL critical.

Damn fine ride.

Yes, see, it got you too. This is the picture that sold me from 1100 miles away. "Bee" very careful, a picture is worth a thousand words and sometimes those words lie. I plan to fix the drivetrain and stick with the body as is which is a good driver quality. Sorry it took me so long to reply, not much time allowed and I am still s l o w l y learning to get around this site.

Can you give us more details on the problems you found with the car? Were you able to hear it run before you purchased it? Did you send someone to look at it for you before purchasing?

The only info I got was photos and I talked to the guy who was a nice guy but not really full of knowledge about the car, good or bad. I was like a dog in heat when I saw the car and did not investigate much at all, I was blinded by love of all things MOPAR. I went for a drive in the car, noticed a vibration, but heard what I thought was a bad u-joint so I figgured the problem was there but I figgured wrong. Shoulda , coulda , woulda, short story is, I did not do my home work and bought the first A-12 clone I could afford. I would have been better off holding out for a plain Coronet or a rolling Bee and made my own clone. Today I have about $12,000 above what I paid in just the drive train parts and it is all in pieces, not much time, 2 kids, lot of demands, but hope to get started this summer on putting it back together. I found a good K-member that I am getting today for $200, drum to drum from a 69 Road Runner, yes mine was busted and crap welded in the past.
