Kroil Oil, PB Blaster, and Marvel Mystery Oil will dissolve your ear wax. Just make sure to rinse each ear afterwards with CRC Brakleen.

I'm not sure modern brake clean will do the job, might want to grab the carb cleaner..

Car keys get in there and scrape out the crusties. Some work better than others. Old worn out keys are easier on the skin.
