Homie has one. 342 hemi. Block #'s Non matching.....front doghouse from donor. Except for engine out, and front doghouse off, car is complete survivor....two tone white/black.....original paint. Could be turn key w not a lot of hassle. Top needs new canvas....interior pretty nice.

Mopar convertibles I read are highly collectable. But as far as a 55', you would have to research that one. Got any pictures ?

Not at moment, car is semi buried in one of the garages. I know one brought 85 K @ Barret a couple yrs ago. If someone showed some true interest, i could clear some stuff out & take some pix......if in so cal, anyone is welcome to come look....we are near Riverside.

That's my kind of barn/garage find. Is it yours ?

342? There was a 341 Hemi in 1956, '55 would have had the 291. But even a flathead six would be cool in that old convert. I hope you manage to get some pics - hopefully someone will show enough interest to get it dragged outside. :)

Not mine, all the iron here is my Friend Pete's.....i have my bug & cls c RV here... Pete's place....i give a hand with whatever is in line, a few projects cut open, & it keeps my roof & food, allows me time for doing my sculpture. DeSoto was being worked on a while back, but a concentrating on two others now.

Story i got was it was correct but non matching....its a hemi, the car's a 55. So i guess its a 341. Killer dashboards....neatly made car....steer box is aluminum housing, pretty control arms, firewall is very unbusy....very good looking automobile.......i'd still prefer 57, 58
Chrysler 300 'vert to slake my fifties tastes.
