Anyone done those leaf filter things on your gutter?

My son worked many years ago as a gutter cleaner, in his experience they were okay for broad leaves, but useless if you had pine, fir or spruce needles to contend with. So I didn't bother getting them.

I use a metal screen on mine and they work well. Easy to install. Think 150’ costs like 220 delivered. Made in USA like it should be.

I installed Raptor Gutter Guard a few years ago, it's stainless steel, it's super fine mesh so even pine needles don't stick, it's been pretty good so far... We have ten pine trees & twenty four trees total on our 1/3 acre lot, so plenty of leaves to deal with...
