Anyone else following the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan?

BTW....a 'Try' means to ground the ball across the opposition's goal-line whilst being fully in control of the ball, and applying downward pressure upon it.

England had two try's disallowed as a result of the ball feeding from a foul or illegal move prior to crossing the line.

Pity that the Ref ignored the shoulder charge on our Winger who was close to scoring. Normally a Red Card offense, and should have sent the player off for the entire game.

Is brain damage the cause of this game , or the result?
At least two of the NZ squad have been sidelined for long periods (months) as the result of severe concussions in the past. Yes it is a dangerous game. A number of people have died playing over the years, and many spinal injuries....but mostly a good healthy game when played correctly.

There is certainly not anyplace in this game for bulk(fat) for its own sake , like in american football, just muscle and guts!

And sorry about the last comment, it was intended as a light-hearted shot. Clearly this can be a VERY dangerous game. Our football players are wrapped in bubble wrap and kevlar in comparison.

The ref’s are never wrong!

That 7 points is made up of a 'Try' 5 points, and the 'conversion' (bonus kick at goal) for 2 points.

Brutal game and our boys, the All Blacks were absolutely monstered last night. Anyone would think the English were on meth or something....they have probably all been promised Knighthoods and a Million Pound payout if they win. Too bad they will rreturn home to a divided nation full of Mooslims, refrigerated containers full of dead Asians and a crippled economy. Ah well, you can't win 'em all.

A very sombre Sunday morning here. :(

Our economy it's just fine thanks...for now! The container thing is very sad....just shows how desperate these people are to risk it. Don't confuse Muslims with those Isis tossers please....proper Muslims hate them as much as the rest of us....and religious intolerance is not welcome anywhere and is what starts these bloody wars in the first place....this formum is better than that I hope.

BOT....no-one was more surprised than me when we spanked the Kiwis....it certainly not the money...!...over here the Rugby boys are on peanuts compared to the football pansies. No Knighthoods likely...but her Majesty loves all sports...especially ones that reflect well on the country...so a few OBEs are quite likely! We should win it now....but SA are not to be taken lightly.

Oh well...well done South Africa...good clean game and you beat us fair and square....again! Been a while since I drunk that much at 9 in the morning though...wrote off the rest of my day...lol. Rude not to take advantage of the pub opening at 8 in the morning to watch the game though! Luckily it was my day off so no harm done!
