Woke up this morning after having a vivid dream where I was idling the GTX and the temp needle pegged to high and the gauge blew apart. I tried to turn it off but it just kept on dieseling.

Previously, my old 68 Charger would make appearances every now and again after selling it in 1992. Sometimes it would still be in the garage, sometimes it would be in pieces or I would find it outside somewhere randomly. Never did have dreams of me driving it. The mind is an interesting place.

Dream about fires in the Coronet. Had 3.

I had a fire start in My 68 Gt/CS the dinky little filter attatched to the front of the carb broke off . while running.. If it wasnt in my garage I would of let it burn..

No, at least not yet.
But I don't eat Mexican late at night.

Is it something to look forward to?
The dreams that is.

What about being chased by a moose?
Just wondering

I'd call that more of a nightmare. :)

All the time. I have dreams that the car is finished and pops and I take it out for a cruise. There is a long way to go before that can happen...lol

It was more of, "I guess I need to fix the overheating issue again."
I was relieved to wake up and realize I did not have to work on it haha.

YES!

I’ve had repeat dreams of the brakes going out or not being able to stop my current 72 Satellite before crashing it.
Though I always wake up before impact.

I have one where I'm rushing to get home just as rain starts falling...very vivid. The car slides around...a feeling of stress hits just before I wake up

The house I grew up in had a 1 acre corner lot. Sometimes I dream that some of the cars I used to own or worked on there are still parked in various places on the lot and I'm out there looking for them. Seller's remorse I guess...

No dream, but I wonder why I didn’t buy a hemi more than once a year!!

Ive have had many dreams about the cars I've owned. Some involve me parking one of them and then i cant find it as it was stolen or i cant recall were i parked. Others are that i have all of the cars i owed and some need restoration. Yet another dream is i loose some but i still feel somewhat ok as i still have a few left. Then there gone and at that point i wake up
I suppose theses dreams are out of frustration of waiting all these years and i still dont have and cant afford almost any of those cars i had in my younger days.
You count your blessings in life and come to the fact that cars, material things dont mean much. Your family, children, grandchildren, health of loved ones and your own health is what counts. The cars represented a different time in life. I parked those cars across from were i grew up in my grandfathers driveway. All these people who were around when i had these cars are gone. Its memories and while memories are nice we cant get to hung up on them....

I’ve never had a dream about my first- ‘66 yellow Chevrolet 396/325 w/powerglide,open rear-end. Nuff said.

I've found in these recent years (after you know what happened) that I dream very vividly. The dreams are very clear, very well produced and go on for hours sometimes. Reminds me of movies at times.
They're most always "reality based", with real people I've known and real places I've been. Yes, oftentimes a car I've owned is central to the plot, usually my first Mopar - a 1968 Super Bee.

No, there wasn't much "right" about the car, but it was a true Super Bee and I loved that damn car. Drove it all over the place fearlessly, from Ottawa, CA to the deep south.
The one that got away....along with those younger years.
Freud would have a field day with all this, I'm sure.
