Hey guys,
Any Hot Wheels, Johnny Lightning, Ertl, Matchbox, etc. collectors?

I have about 2000 of them. Huge display in the rec room.
Id like to get rid of some of them and just hold onto the Mopar stuff.

I didnt want to post this in the for sale section cuz its not really a sale. Just wanted to see if any collectors here first.

I apologize in advance to mods if this is inappropriate for this section. Im a newbie here and look forward to getting some good advice regarding my 69 Coronet project. Dont want it to seem like Im using this site as a launching pad to get rid of my stuff.

Thanks

I collect the 1/24 Franklin and Danbury Mint diecast cars

I collect, and have about 14,000 toy cars in my collection. I like the 1/64 scale myself...Are these carded cars, or loose.

Wow, 14,000! I thought my collection was big!
I have mostly 1/64, but also about 10 1/18 and a few 1/24.
Everything I have is still carded, except for about 100 cheapie HW's that I let my kid play with.
Once again, I dont want to seem like this is a for sale ad, but if you want to check some out Andrew, PM me and Id be more than willing to add to your collection or trade.

BTW, if any mods are reading this, what would be a more appropriate section for this post if I was offering for sale or trade? Thanks.

I collect 1/18 scale. She is another bad habit

Yes. I will be listing them on our website as time allows. http://pepsparts.com/products.asp?cat=27 I may also list some here as time allows as well. Road runners, GTX's, Chargers, Satellites, Daytonas, Belvederes, Cuda's, Challengers, Dusters, Demons, Darts, Customs, etc. 1/64, 1/43, 1/24, 1/18 scale Johnny Lightning, GMP, Highway61, Hotwheels, Matchbox, American Muscle, etc. I just purchased a friends entire20+ year diecast collection and most of it has to go. He also threw in all his Mopar magazines, Mopar softcover and hardcover books, and some Mopar nascar stuff. I wish I could keep it all but unfortunately I'm out of room and it has to go. In addition to all of that stuff, I have over 3000 1/64 scale stuff ranging from when I was 8 years old in 1968 ( hotwheel redlines, and original Johnny Lightning) to the present day. 95% of all of those cars are Mopars.

I have a few..... thousand. These are in my computer room.

Redline hotwheels collector

I collect redline hotwheels, track sets, accessories and sizzlers from 1967 to 1972. I have a whole wall (floor to ceiling) in my livingroom filled with them. I am up for trading for mopar parts!

I collect more of the HW & JL. Also like doing the plastic model kits. If you are looking to sell or trade what you have, I would put it in "Other stuff for sale" section.

I have a bunch of the 1/24:1 scale mostly, Mac Tools, Drag race Funny cars & Dragsters, haulers/rig & P/S motorcycles, all still in the boxes, but I use to have them displayed, when I lived in Rancho Murieta Ca., since I've moved to Sonora, they stay in the original boxes in my closet now... I just got a cheapo Green/white 57 Chevy Bel Air from my Pops, it's a good paper holder... I got them mostly when I was working around the Automotive Dealerships & buying tools from the Independent Tool Distribution Trucks, usually some incentive after spending $1000 or more, which I did quite often, for my race car & my construction company or when I was designing & building/fabricating, Utility Equipment/Municipalities, PG&E or ConED Trucks/Aerials/Digger Derecks/Cranes...LOL... I gave all my old Hot Wheels, tracks & stuff to my nephew, many years ago now, wish I would have kept them, he traded for some stupid stuff, with them a few times.... Is there a real market for these things ??, mine are mostly from early to mid/late 1990's...

damn that's a significant investment in Die Cast Collectible Cars... I don't feel so bad about spending the money I have now..LOL..

My collecting is limited to aircraft. I have a couple hundred Lintoy/Corgi die cast airliners from the 1970s.
