He is going to keep a "select few" for himself.....Yea the ones worth the most and sell someone else the scraps and some land

No, but I might be interested in a bridge spanning west toward Russia.

Only if it's South of the 41st Parallel, would I be interested..

You'll be getting one hell of a bargain with the difference in the dollar!

I know the area and would love to live there!
Sure wish I had the $ and was a little closer to retirement, I'd so snatch it up!

I've already got a down payment in on a bridge in Brooklyn - otherwise I'd consider,it......

This is one of those deals that look good from the outside looking in. If you owned this place it would be a full time job and probably a full time pain in the ***. Like most wrecking yards you would be constantly dealing with government regs, neighbors who aren't too thrilled about having a wrecking yard in the neighborhood, and probably a steady stream of looky lous. I'd really have to check it out before I stepped into a deal like this. JMHFO.

Last year he had it up for for around $400,000 less

Although the area is nice, it's not worth that for the land. You can buy five acres there for ALOT less. If you're loaded and looking for a full time job in your retirement go for it.

If one was serious I'm sure he'd look at offers well below the asking price. No one has ever given him an offer on it when it was listed at a lower price, so I'm sure no one will now... But you never know

I have know Mike for about 35 years and did not know he was going to sell
I need to get out and see his place before he sells it
He used to live in Kamloops and I think the city made him move as in clean yard out or else
I am in Utah but will stop in to see him in May or June

When you see an old car sitting in a field or whatever, do you think you're the first person that's spotted it or do you think a) the owner wants stupid money or b) its a rotten POS. Look at the fence around that place and tell me if you think there's a good piece left on any car? And if anything in there was rare or decent, wouldn't it be long gone. Lastly, try to convince your old lady to move into that shack - which I guaranty is as neat and tidy inside as the rest of the yard!

Some interesting cars in there...

I don't want to shovel that much snow every damn year
& then get rid of/scrap 75%-99% of the cars or
have to part the pieces out, to people that won't pay chit...LOL

otherwise a great deal  ,
it's nice land & country thou

I see it's on only 5 acres, what's the land & 2 existing buildings
actually worth up there ?

What's that land & buildings actually worth in American $$$'s ?

I saw that before, maybe even on FBBO
the guy/owner looks like a pasty white version of a
"rasta'man" maybe he's smoking something,
not sure it's anywhere near that value

Remember that only a small portion of his cars are stored at the Auto Museum with the open fence. His property is farther down the road and I don't think much would be visible.

I got a few hundred to put in . I'll move there and act as security and parts remover for you guys to help pay the rest of my way

I was just talking to Mike today and he is holding off on selling till after they do a movie on his place
He is still buying stuff and in middle of adding a big shop
He is going to call me when they have the date for the shooting
His hair is still in dred locks and told me he has not had a drink in 5 years and gave up pot
That i find hard to believe
