RIP Apollo 9 Commandor McDivitt
you were a very bold & very brave adventurous man
going into space/orbit
I loved the Apollo program, a big part of my youth
watching it developed, Saturn V rockets,
still the most powerful,
Apollo 9 was testing the 'lunar lander' in Earth's orbit earlier in 1969 also
Apolo 11 1st moonwalk, lunar landing July 20th 1969
was right after my 10th Birthday (7-12-59),
I was glued to the black & white 'Blonde Oak' Zenith console TV,
I was mesmerized by the 1st steps on the moon & the Apollo program
