Are 71- 72 Bbody uppper and lower door bumpers slightly different?

I know this is a very subtle observation and may very well not make any difference one way or the other: both the factory and newly purchased replacement bumpers are not quite the same. One pair seems to be just a hair larger than the other pair. Is this just a variation of quality control or are they specific as to lower/upper placement.

Be happy if it fits and looks the same. I've had repop stuff not even look right or fit at all. The picture of the item was correct but when it showed up I was less then happy I wouldn't worry about it won't make a difference. If your doing a numbers matching nut and bolt high dollar resto then I'd say find org ones but on a 71-72 b body Let it ride and worry about something else that youll see more .good luck
