Are you a "Finish the car" guy or "Go on to the next one" guy?

Seems like i get a car to about 85-90% then I'm on to the next one. This means I never win a trophies since there are things left undone. I read and article from David Freiberger a couple of months ago that described me well. "The next car I buy is going to fix my addiction." This is my current list in order of most recent purchased.

1973 Grand Am Stripped 455
1973 Grand Am Beater 400
2002 Sentra Beater
1969 Charger SE
1998 Explorer
2 1981 Dodge D50's
1981 Camaro
2007 Hummer
1971 Charger 500
1971 Challenger
1997 CamaroSS

Do you still own them all or do you replace as you sell? I find most who buy more (before they actually finish what they already have), rarely complete any of them...Likely because the newer purchase takes up more interest.

Let me see some pics of the grand am. I am an addict too and I love those.

I finish cars for others, mine may never get done...

Sometimes if I finish a car I will sell it. Those on the list I still have. I'm about done with the '71 Charger 500 and I'm going to sell it. I guess I'm ADD when it comes to cars.

Really, is any hobby car ever "finished"?
Complete.....sure
Finished......never.

It's too much time, money and work to not get the satisfaction of completing a car for me not too. I'm very selective now days with choosing a project for that reason, I've built many and was never happy until I bought one that I really really wanted and not just liked.

I've never felt like any project car I've ever owned was completely finished and that's how I like it. I don't really want to own a 100 point show car (again) that I can't drive and leave anywhere I want so I build them to drive and enjoy on the road. There's always little improvements I can make on my cars and I always look forward to going out to the shop and tinkering on them. Helps keep me (somewhat) sane.

I get distracted easily. I don't think I have any medical excuse, I just get bored a bit and want to do something different.
Every car or truck I've owned has had a few details left to finish. Maybe I just don't like finish work.

I prefer to complete/finish them...
I feel like they're never done to my liking thou...
Always something I think, can be better...
I do get bored easily too, so when they are 99% done
or nearly completed to my taste...
I'll often just sell them, to move to another project...
I don't have the room anymore for multiple projects,
all of my current project a 68 RR & my truck 99 Dakota
all my stuff stays in the garage or it's gone/sold
to someone else, that has the room...

IMO "Stuff" just goes bad, way too fast outside,
even covered in a carport or shed...
I use to have far more room & far more projects,
sometime several at a time, racecars & muscle-cars or 4x4's...

It's an addiction/sickness...

I've been good for a while now, not buying anything since 2005
haven't sold anything since 2007 & I still haven't finished my 68 RR,
life, house, budget or elderly relatives, all gets in the way,
all the damn time now...

I hate loose ends prob due to the fact I own construction business and dont get paid till the job is done. So I finish a car before starting a new one even if the next project is sitting right beside it with parts coming in from fed ex.

I actually finish them but almost always have the next one in the wings at about 90%, makes the last 10% take longer. I want each one running and driving so it kinda drives me crazy when something small is not working.

Nothing wrong with multi-tasking
