This was the first I've heard of it John, was just sharing. After 12 years in SAC and getting out in 91 with the bad winds of change in the air, I'm glad for any popsicle I can get for my service for the **** we had to put up with! That includes the 19 years of non-recognition afterwards that I received in the AFRC Reserves. I had no idea about the Korean Vets award.
I guess Gen. LeMay cared for his troops more than compared to today!
