Auto Antenna

Has anyone used an auto up/down antenna on a B body? just wondering about room under the fender, and any other info or pointers on different brands or installs.
I had asked this before but had no response. Maybe now is a good time.

Well, I know it's not much help, but I was considering the same thing on my '72. I haven't measured anything yet (radio is WAAY down the road for me), but it looks like there's room in that fender area to hide a smartcar...

I installed one from a bowtie car on my charger years ago, fit fine.
