I'm trying to get my baby moved from Texas to New Jersey. Anyone use a dependable car hauler? Having issues with the company I chose

There's always reliable. Had a decent experience with them.

Mine was back in 2010 and I got quotes from many places. The prices were all in the general area of $500 (for mine) so I had to choose who had the best customer service. Helpful on the phone, answered questions as well as speaking to a knowledgeable HUMAN.
Most if not all these places farm out to local or semi local folks anyway. The guy who delivered mine was from the area. I got his card (home) in case I needed him again.
He personally called me every step of the way. Called me before he picked it up, during, after and while on the road.
I "think" it was A-1 I went through but again, 5 years ago ... I can barely remember what I had for dinner last night.

Horseless Carriage. They're in NJ. I think they only do enclosed, so more money, but they did a great job with my car from Iowa to NJ.

You have to decide if you want enclosed transport or not enclosed. Enclosed is safer for the car and of course more expensive. I've heard on FBBO that Enclosed Vehicle Transport Co. is very good and reliable. When I got quotes they were also the most expensive. I was strictly getting quotes for enclosed transport and the quotes were all over the place with about a $500-700 spread. My car goes from Minneapolis to Los Angeles so that's expensive in and of it self. I haven't moved her yet but when I do I'll pay the extra money to ensure I get reliable safe service.

The guy I sold a rough 66 chevy truck to used a company names Upbeat Transport Service. Truck driver had a 2015 crew cab f350 and 2015 trailer. 1-888-787-2328

Thanks to all that replied. I'm on my second carrier now, supposed to pick up my baby today. Got my fingers crossed. Will update my progress.

I used All American Transport. Had my car hauled from Indianapolis to Philadelphia for $500. Bought the car on a Wednesday, it was picked up on Friday and at my door Sunday morning. They were good to work with, but you need to stay in touch with them prior to pickup. Talk to Vivian.

If it doesn't work out, call Intercity Lines or Reliable. Either one will do a great job for you. As was said above, communication is everything. Both of these carriers are used extensively at the Barrett/Jackson Auctions. I've had 2 vehicles moved coast to coast by Intercity and was super happy with the care they gave my cars and the timeliness of their service.
