I am seeking quotes for shipping my 69 Coronet RT (nonoperational) from VA to WA. Got the job with Army Corps of Engineers and finally get to move home. Will haul the Road Runner on a trailer behind the truck, but have to ship the Coronet. Any recommendation on dependable services would be appreciated.

I wasted a bunch of time with various brokers (they do not have their own trucks so they are not even close to reliable). First off DO NOT USE THESE GUYS http://www.reliablecartransportation.com/ they are a total waste of time.

In the end I went with http://www.reliable-carriers.com/ and highly recommend. Nice, pleasant, kept their schedule. Price was a little more but I had heard great things. My car didn't run at the time either and they can accommodate that.

Depending on if you want an enclosed or open trailer will greatly affect the price. Enclosed costs more as there are less of them around, but there is more protection and security. I bet your VA-WA shipment will cost 1200-1600 or more for a legitimate enclosed carrier.
