My 66 Satellite came originally with a 361 big block which was totally intact upon purchase. I am transplanting a 1971 440 into the car and would like to know if the alternator brackets, pulleys, and the power steering mount will work on the 440/RB motor? Thank you in advance for your input.

Yes the brackets should all transfer. If you have an auto the kickdown linkage will need to be swapped or modified.

Might want to consider clearance issues. The RB is taller. Depending on what kind of intake you intend to use you might be in for a surprise when you go to close the hood.

Already thought that through but thanks for bringing it up. I have edelbrock CH4B dual plane that will be mated to some CNC stealth heads. All of that will be sitting on a 440/512 with 11:1 compression and hydraulic roller to boot. I cannot wait because it will be painted turquise blue with a unsilenced period correct air cleaner. I want it to look like it was factory you know what I mean?

Yeah I do like my eddy dual plane. You give up a little horse but that extra torque gets these big heavy beasts moving quicker and it does have a more stock look to it for sure.

I do not want to scare any of the neighborhood chevys. I want to at least let them think they have a chance until it is time for them to study the rear of the MOPAR!

Just have a bumper sticker that says....YOU ARE READING THIS SO YOU ARE TOO SLOW

The RB has a higher deck so anything that bolts to the water pump housing and a head will be different.

I put a 440 in my 66 I bought brackets off of a 383. The power steering brackets worked but the alternator bracket was too short.

all of my 383-4v brackets (power steering, AC, Alt) swapped over to the 440/500 no problems.
