Last Mopar was a 71 440 4spd Challenger. Came out nice when done and I was always impressed by the insane amount of power the 440 produced. Since then I've built and road raced a Porsche and a 65 Mustang. Racing got too expensive so I'm going back to street performance cars. I've got a 64 Polara 500 auto with 413. Body is OK but needs rear quarters and doglegs behind the front fender wells. It's gonna be 512 cu in with newer 727. Will be used in street/strip application. Currently subframing and boxing the unibody so it doesn't self destruct behind the engine I'm building. Presently trying to figure out how to remove the front fenders without wrecking them. Looks like some spot welds will have to be removed. Oh well, here we go again! This ain't my first rodeo but every car has it's own special tweaks than need to be leaned. Looking for experienced info and suggestions on what works best with this platform.
