In the garage. Under the hood. Again.
I say that because, weather permitting,I plan on being there tonight and Friday-I'd like to drive down to Woodward tomorrow-and plan to get LOTS of pics.

Anyway, here's a couple from last night. 'Twas getting dark, and even with the flash, the pics didn't come out that good. Got a couple to show:

This was from a good spot, but not a high-traffic area. When I moved farther north of this spot, the sun was goin' down. The pics I took from the second spot sucked-but the women walking by looked pretty good. Sorry;too dark to get good pics, but the visual memory remains. Heading out in a couple of hours;will post those later.

thanks for your efforts

Round two,from today/tonight:

Entering downtown Flint. I did not feel like I should have been packin'.

Tried to grab some shots while moving(somewhat "moving";traffic is BAD for this event) through town.

Of course, when shooting from a moving car,you occasionally hit the button at the wrong times.

2 Grr on the tach? Must have been in first gear...

Next: more attempts at motion photography and some proper static shots.

TONS of way-cool rides out there from every era. The weather is supposed to suck tomorrow,so I may not be out. Friday's looking better,so I will get even more shots then. For now...

This was in front of me in traffic;when we went by,it made my car shake. In a good way. This thing sounded VERY healthy. I was in front at the next light and caught the second shot. Love the car,HATE a Chevy scoop on it. "It's what all the other kids are doing...". Doesn't make it right.

A couple from one of the big sites around town.

Worth a repeat;should have seen her(and a couple of other hotties) with hula hoops. Damn;couldn't get a video of that.:angryfire:

OK;got some pics last night, but ran into a couple of good friends:beavisnbutthead: from the old days, and of course the telling of lies and 3/4 truths and such precluded taking pics. But;I did go on a garage tour(love them) and get to see some VERY rare small-block Ford parts that even Pentastar People could appreciate. Yes,that kind of rarity. These two have been gathering unique Blue Oval stuff for over 30 years, and I've seen true one-of-one intakes, heads, carbs and such. Genuine Ford, not aftermarket pieces. I also found out that one very significant '60's Ford race car, thought to have been destroyed after a crash, exists in another friend's garage. Can't say where;sorry...

Heading to downtown Flint in a bit;will get lots of pics there. Then,I can come home and fry the server...

Joey,I'm kidding,I'm kidding-don't :ban: me bro!

Very cool photos guys, I love all the cars, even all the Brand X stuff...LOL....

"I'm back!"

What a day. Great time downtown-ton of pics-but the alternator died in the Sport Fury. Got her home, only to encounter a broken connection on the basement sump pump. So-o-o,I've been @#$%&*@ with that and got the old alternator off(no easy task) AND got the oil changed. A multi-tasking mofo I be. Sheeeeeet....

To the show!

I've yet to see a car count;had to be at in the 5-figure range. People? A half a million-yes,MILLION-were expected. The main street(Saginaw Street) was blocked off for about a 3 mile stretch, the side streets were filled, and the two parallel streets were blocked off as well. Just plain HUGE.

More cars:

Lots of street rods and such. The craftsmanship on some of these cars is amazing.

OK;I saw this and said to self: "BLAHBLAH...another 'Pro streeter...yadayada...".

Yeah. An early Hemi. Did quite the double-take on that one.

OK;enough for tonight. I'm whupped, and an early rise and dull(as opposed to "rise-and-shine") awaits me. I've got more, but I'll get those out tomorrow. Enjoy.
