Hope everyone is ok from all this bad weather that has been hitting the States since the weekend. I am clear here in OK, but my Dad had some flooding damage this morning in FL. Lots of damage to the roads and homes out there. I know this weather has hit several states and just wishing the best to everyone hit by it. I know there have been tornadoes, high winds, flooding, and everything else involved in this and it is just horrible. I have attached a pic of one my dad's neighbors houses to show some of the flooding. It was worse in other areas. I am really hoping there wasn't too many people out trying to drive through some it last night and this morning.

Horrible storms in the midwest and south. Hope everyone on the board and your families are ok.

Damn.

On a related note, watch out because most localities charge a higher tax rate for waterfront property.

That sucks, we had big flood here last fall and water damage is the worst. The crappy weather is here in Colorado too, no where near what they are getting in the mid-south, but its only been in the upper 30's to 40's and the wind has been blowing non-stop for 4 days straight, gusting 40-50mph the entire time. Very unusual for it to be this windy for such a long period of time, and isn't supposed to settle down until Friday. Its a big slow storm system.

Yea, it is pretty crazy. Some of the worse I have seen for the area. From what I heard from my Dad, it was 12.5" of rain in less than 24 hours. I have been through several hurricanes and tropical storms in the area and most of them don't even put out that much rain in such a short period.

We are pulling camper west and decided to hunker down near Pensacola. There was a break yesterday morning and I decided to make a run for it instead. That area got dumped with about 2 feet of rain.

PlumCrazy, I've been hearing about some of the problems on the news but didn't realize it was this bad down there. Thanks for bringing the point home and making us aware of it.
