Ok guys, I'm admittedly a Chevy guy convert and not very schooled yet on all things Mopar. Can I get some of your opinions on value for this car? I flipped it onto my existing insurance policy that I had for my previous car @ $35K. Is this about right, too much, not enough? Just want to make sure I'm covering my butt! Thanks in advance. Here's a walk around vid of the car and some pics of the docs I found dating back to '68. Car isn't a 100 point show car but still pretty nice.

i've got my 69 RR insured for 40K. this is in case of a total loss (God forbid) you have to look at replacement cost of equal car.

Without looking at the car in person and seeing the quality of work, 'originality', 'changes and upgrades', it's a little unfair and very hard for anyone to look at online pictures and determine a WIW.

What did you pay for it? (that is ultimately 'what it's worth')
What is your time and effort worth to replace it?
What is the current realistic market for a similar car in the similar condition?

That's the insurance value.

Replacement value for a base 69 RR HT 383ci/727 with select few options

Without seeing it in person, my best guess is;
I'd say $25k min to about $40k in the condition it appears in the video,
for insurance value, you'll pay more for the higher value too...

IMO replacement costs will be higher "generally",
than what it "would/possibly could" sell for too

the insurance co. generally could want/require an appraisal too,
if they think it's a high/over valued assessment

$35k a good/fair # for you & the insurance co. IMO

35 about right. Polk sold Simca! Nice to have that documentation, I have none.
