will SE front and rear door panes fit in a 2 door base coupe? should all be same just SE more fancy?

From 71-74 they all interchange Plymouth, Dodge B bodies. Take care

HEEEY HEEEY HEEEY... that's not true!

71/72 Chargers won't interchange with 73/74 Chargers...

73/74 charger interchange with 71/72 Plymouths ( as full set, because partially won't match ) dunno with 73/74 Plymouths on rear.

about SE and Coupe/Hardtop ( talking about 73/74 which is your one )

3 diff trim levels

without woodgrain finish

with woodgrain finish

Brougham

SEs diff tha ppl thinks DON'T GET BROUGHAM PANELS as part of the package, just that really common you can find These on SEs, being a luxury trim on a luxury car. But you can find Brougham panels on Hardtops and Regular panels on SEs... not common but they really are.

MY car got Brougham panels from a Canadian Hardtop donor.

Now, interchange between SEs and Hardtops... front yes, rears not. The rear uppers got a diff cut to accomodate the inner louvers.

on lowers there 71/74 in front all the same ( you can find smallll diff on some, getting a reinforcement on arm rest pad area )

rears.... 71/72, then 73 and then 74... being 71/73 all interchangeable... ( 71/72s with soft arm rest )... 74s with front shoulder seatbelt retractor trim

I agree. 71, 72 uppers will NOT work on 73-74.
Then there is the difference in 73-4 SE and non SE as explained over at DC.com.

Nacho is 100%.

Fronts all interchange rears don't, with some extenuating circumstances.

Note the wood grain is different between brougham and deluxe level, and doesn't line up if you try to use brougham fronts and deluxe rears.

Also there are slight color variations between years that also makes mixing and matching difficult- esp in the tan/parchment/white colors.

Nacho is right. Also little known fact that you could order a hardtop as an SE and still keep the roll down quarter windows.

just on 73... never 74

need to add... coupes with fixed quarter glasses interchanges with hardtops roll down.

Mine is a high hardtop according to fender tag. Whatever that means

hardtop means actually no B pillar post

Since on Chargers there is not an actual B pillar post ( except 73/74 SEs and those 74s with M07 roof option, but it means nothing on unibody ), then Coupes are a fixed glass mounted on a bracket and simulated B pillar post through the vertical seal molding ( WL21 VIN ). Hardtops are same look but roll down ( WH23 VIN )

Hmm, I have a WH23 VIN on my 71 Charger and the rear quarter windows are fixed. Are they not supposed to be and is it possible to mod them to roll down?

You might want to check your dash VIN and fender tag against the cowl VIN or the rad support VIN.

Ya I did that when I bought the car. Dash VIN matches the fender tag and rad support. I'll look for the cowl VIN to compare. The car also has a clear title. I guess this is just one of those qwerky things that happen in the MOPAR world?
