Adam West was and IS Batman. THe show was never intended to be anything more than it was....quality FUN entertainment. Top Hollywood stars of the day begged to be on it. RIP Mr West and thank you for the many years of entertainment. And after being type cast as Batman, Adam West manned up and did what he had to do to earn a living and feed his family, putting on the Bat suit and doing super market openings. A class act.
