The Battleship New Jersey has a great You Tube channels. Lots of Vet interviews.
Spent a night on her while on a Boy Scout trip. Hot as hades in the bunks and some of the youngins' (15 +16 y/o at the time) were getting restless. I took them up on deck and we eventually nodded off in the shadows of the 16" guns under a full moon.
Great experience, met with several veterans of the ship who were there as museum guides. Who better to educate us than they?

Jersey: saw it come up the Delaware River from Mare Island trip. It is 15 minutes (no traffic) from home, NEVER been on it.
Any New England folks, the 1st nuke sub, USS NAUTILAS (SSN-571) is back at its museum. 99% of its gear was on my sub, DAMN I'M OLD!!
