For those that don't know, these were slide shows with a record that you played. Each ding you hear was the signal to flip to the next slide. I sat through these prese tations when I was a kid. I have some records somewhere, rather had some somewhere. Probably lost in a move.

This friend of mine only has one completely functional leg, but she works ski patrol full time at age 77. We both walk with forearm crutches, wonder why more folks our age don't. The bad joke cited earlier might be a factor.

not meant to offend you, being all to familiar as I'm a disabled vet with a non curable lung disease and having seen plenty unfortunate people, sometimes finding humor is more of a defense mechanism as not to let it get to me. I have several friends or family members with disabilities, and for the most part none take offense, understandable if you take issue, we all cope or feel differently.
p.s., she was holding a sign that you might consider she's doing the same
