Got to admit that 66 wasn't a bad year whatsoever! Not saying that because I like them but because I saw very few 66-67's in the shop being repaired.....

It's why I set a max of 3 votes. It's a VERY hard and subjective question.

Design taste evolving. Before joining B-bodies site I wasn't a fan of the 62-64 design. But 2 years ago I brought my car to a local show. About 100 cars. I parked near a row of 3 Plymouth Savoy. A '62 413 Max Wedge. A '63 426 Max Wedge. And a 64 426 Hemi lightweight. (Clone, but decent job) I couldn't keep my eyes off the '63. To the point the owner allowed me a more detailed viewing. Thus the "63 design year now gets one of my poll votes. My GTX did get decent attention from the average crowd. Being it was the only GTX there. I once again answered the most asked question from the younger folks. The difference between GTX and GTO. Lol.

I also didn't like the 71-74 design. But I'm starting to come around some. Not enough for a vote? But not cringing either. '71 certainly deserves a spot in the poll.

I like '63-'65 and '69, but you only let me pick three... :poke:

I must apologize, IMO, no way I can cast best's - they were all fantastic.

I have always been an advocate of 66-67's. 68 was an impressive year for Dodge with the Chargers and Coronets. Although I believe 70 was the prettiest Plymouth beyond 67, I can't ignore the 62 Dodge. All in B bodies ofcourse. Therefore I voted 67 for that 2 year run and 68 for the two models I mentioned and then 62 for my strange and unusual choice.

71, 70, and 62 here .it doesn't go back to 60 that I have

Imo, Charger 68, Super bee 69 and roadrunner 70.
In my humble and VERY unofficial opinion? 1969 may have a slight advantage for the Dodge line. 1970 may have slight advantage for Plymouth. With '68 squeezed close for both divisions. Thus I'm guessing will be a close 3 horse race. Umm. Strange that those are the years their specialty cars the Daytona and Superbird were campaigned? Coincidence?

Like Jerry I favor ‘66 & ‘67 Belvederes and Satellites. More so ‘66. The grill, headlamp and directional design and trunk trim panel seem more muscular looking. ‘67s are more refined.
A ‘63 convertible, white with red interior and white top is what I’ve always wanted. I would ‘almost’ sell my ‘66s for one. Not sure why, perhaps it’s because it’s the car my father had when I was young. Perhaps in the next life.

I agree with Coronet68mx here. I really haven't had much exposure to the earlier years mentioned, but the 3 models suggested here are what I think of first as well. Except my '70 would be the GTX of course. :D

Jerry, were you reading my mind here? Scary. LOL This is how I feel

the aero cars were a different breed, not to mention the 69 charger 500, we all know the story , i think it was RC that explains that the front grill of a 68 charger is a spotless smile, for me I really like the 69 bee, and the 70 roadrunner front is mean, yes is a close call between those 3, but in the end a b body is a desired car, specially the 68-70 cars, just look at the prices for a 2nd gen 2 door cars skyrocketing these days, imo of course.

Love the ‘64, and the ‘68-‘69 group. Could have done ‘70 but with only 3 couldn’t give up ‘64.

On the whole though, the high end interiors (‘64 Sport Fury, ‘66-‘67 Charger in particular) were superior to the later interiors, even if the exteriors were generally better. Fit and finish are better, cheome adds something too.

I looked everywhere but couldn't find 1972 - the road runner grill was so much better that year compared to 1971.

Fair enough...I thought we were voting on body designs, not mechanical options :)
Good point. I did consider adding 72. Because I too like the fronts better. But that meant 11 years. (Which I guess is not any sorta rule breaker?) One think I would hate? Is getting hit by a '71? That's alot of bumper up there?

While the 72 RR grill is Way cool, the back end is just that much worse, it’s so FUGLY
