Hey everyone I'm new here and in need of a dip stick and tube for a 69 coronet 500 with a 383. I checked classic industries, rock auto, and summit, all seem to have the tube but not the dip stick too, i did see the hemi complete set tho, but wasnt sure if it will fit the car. Does anyone have any suggestions where to pick one up or where to order parts other than the three sites i listed? Any help is appreciated and sorry if this question was already posted. Thanks in advace!

I would post a Want To Buy in the classifieds here. Assembly line parts are always a good choice. Not sure you'll find a repop.

Assembly line parts? Is that original parts from other vehicles? Sorry I'm still learning all the terms. And thanks for the advice!

Thanks for the suggestions everyone, SgtLee511, did you have any issues with fitting it? The 440source one looks closer to stock.

No it looks great, It was a little tight sliding it down into the block, but I got it mounted, my engine still on the stand I might pull it yet and grind just a bit off the sides of the tip that pushes into the block, its a bit tight, but Id recommend it to buy, Its got the seal on it which was nicer than stock, slight difference in the cap, its smaller than original, but the original didn't seal.. Worth that 12 bucks lol. Good Luck

There is not an aftermarket available that matches the original dipstick. Nice used ones are hard to find but can be found. I bought my tube from Frank Badalson and the tubes all require some type of fitment. They are suppose to be tight for sealing purposes and are a PITA to install. it just takes time.

Keep in mind if this is for a 69 the tube that runs between the valve cover and manifold is incorrect...That change came in 70....If correctness is not a must then some of the ones listed will work.
