Available on Youtube, Broderick Crawford plays a cop in the 1951 film "The Mob". Very interesting at minute 1:02:00 the cops install a unit that drips fluorescent paint from the vehicle they want to follow (to be read by an ultraviolet lamp). Movie also debuts Charles Bronson in a very minor part (see him at minute 23:41). Ernest Borgnine also makes an appearance.

myself and some of my friends were sitting around talking about all these looters getting away scotfree...
perhaps the cops should be shooting them with paintball guns with permanent ink.....
be kinda hard to claim you didnt do it if you are covered in ink........
and its non lethal soooo yeah.
