bezel

On the instrument cluster in pictures and in catalogs i noticed a bezel that seem to go around it. I dont see how it attaches other than some holes on the cluster itself. My car did not have it. I only have that strip that goes under upper dash pad, looks like stainless ----Thanks

This dash reassembly i find hard and a lot of patience is needed, something im short on the last few days. All of you guys have been a great help.

My 69 GTX has chrome plastic rectangle frame

Yes , there is a chrome trim. It screws to the cluster and has to be installed before the cluster goes in.
