Guys, the blower motor on my Runner has a squeak to it.
It might be that it is cold in my garage right now.
When I cleaned it up and painted it in the summer and tried it out it was quiet.

My question is can I pull the inlet hose and spray some lube in there? (area circled in red).

Would that help?

Id say no. The heat of a motor will draw oil in and short the windings. If you can find a way to apply ONE drop to each bushing at each end of the shaft, you might solve your problem.

I had the same problem. I tried drilling a small hole in the end of mine to lube the bushing, didn't work. Then I noticed the bushing was actually spinning in the housing. I ended up getting a new motor.

I have quieted a Corvette and a Mopar fan motor down by drilling a tiny hole in the rear nipple and injecting oil into it. But, if the bushing is seized to the armature shaft it’s new motor time.
