It's a 1969 A15 red, 383, Spring Special, bench seat (which I wanted), no console, 97,000 miles or so, A833 4 speed. ace Rakes went and looked at it for me...

Looks like an honest car, not like the seller was trying to hide a bunch of stuff. You gonna have some fun!! Great color.

Being from WA, I mostly will not buy west-side of the State cars because of the rainfall and humidity. If they sat outside, they are always much worse than they look because they are constantly wet 9 months out of the year and rust from the inside out and anywhere water can pool. I won't even start on how corrosive pine and fir needles are when packed into the seams and other tight spaces and soaked in water. Certainly, it will be better than a NJ car, ....so I suppose it is all relative.

Hard to beat a manual-everything, red, 4 speed RR. I saw this one on FB quite awhile ago and dreamt of re-creating my old RR, which this one is near identical.... but 'tis not to be.

Congrats!
